The 2015 revaluation, which took effect on 1st April 2015 albeit based on property valuations as at 1st April 2013, has only been dealt with, in part, by the licensed sector. The new 2020 valuation will be benchmarked to 1st April 2018 and will form the basis of rates bills from 1st April 2020.
